ProudCity 1.56.0 Release

ProudCity Releases

This is primarily a security and maintenance release. The GDPR-focused WordPress Core 4.9.6 Privacy and Maintenance Release is included in this release. It is immediately available for all ProudCity Hosted sites and for download on Github under the GNU Affero GPL v3 open source license.

What changes will I notice?

On May 17, we pushed a major infrastructure release that fixed a number of issues affecting our customers using ProudCity Search Plus. If you are a ProudCity Search Plus customer and are still experiencing issues with document searches, please contact us. If you are not currently using ProudCity Search Plus, contact us to learn more about searching within PDF and Word documents.

This release also includes the WordPress Core 4.9.6 Privacy and Maintenance Release. This core release is mostly focuses around GDPR compliance, and should have very little impact on ProudCity customers.

What’s up next?

Release 1.57.0 will be primarily a bugfix release.
